Hydro-Electric Power Training System
The hydro-electric power training system enables trainees to investigate on hydropower plants
conversion of the potential or gravitational energy of water first into mechanical and then electrical
energy. The educational unit consists of hydroelectric power plant and table top control panel real-life
components. The educational trainer is supplied with software system for calculations and display of
parameters. • Hydroelectricity Experiment Kit consists of frames and modules.
• The frame is designed to be able to install various modules independently, which students can adjust according to their experiments by changing the modules used.
• The frame consists of 3 horizontal rows.
• There is a 1-phase AC power supply with connection points for connecting to experimental modules.
• Up to 9 modules can be installed at the same time, allowing students to conduct more complex experiments.
• There is a metal table where students can place the necessary tools or measuring devices for testing.
• The main frame has an on/off switch, an emergency switch, a circuit breaker, and a power plug for connecting to external devices.
The Hydroelectricity Experiment Kit supports the following study contents:
• Study the basic concepts and operation of converting water energy into electrical energy.
• Calculate the efficiency of a turbine generator.
• Study the effect of changing water pressure on the electrical energy generated.
